EchoVox terms overview
This is a pre-launch product-use overview for EchoVox. It names the core responsibilities already reflected in the product workflow, but it is not a complete commercial agreement or a substitute for terms finalized for public production release.
Use EchoVox only for content and voices you are authorized to use, and treat every generated output as material that still needs human review before publication.
Authorization comes before voice creation
Users must have authority to upload reference recordings, create a custom voice, generate speech, and publish the resulting audio. A publicly available recording, social post, meeting clip, or podcast is not by itself permission to clone or impersonate the speaker.
Do not impersonate or bypass checks
EchoVox must not be used to present synthetic audio as a real person’s live statement, to bypass authentication, or to make an unapproved person appear to endorse a script. Review and disclosure are especially important where a listener could reasonably misunderstand the origin of the audio.
Account and API access are personal workflow controls
Keep sign-in methods and API keys private. A key should be used only by the intended integration and revoked when it is no longer needed. Subscription and billing changes are account actions and should be managed through the authenticated flow.
Final legal terms still require launch review
Before public production launch, complete terms should state the contracting entity, eligibility, payment and cancellation rules, acceptable use, ownership, warranties, liability, dispute process, and contact method. This overview deliberately does not invent those unfinalized terms.
